The City of Art and History – Humanist Library department offers a programme open to all.
Saturday
Self-guided tours
- Permanent and temporary exhibitions: 10am-12.30pm and 1.30am-6pm
Guided tours
- New! Temporary exhibition ‘From Earth to Light’ by Archéologie Alsace, in partnership with the Regional Archaeology Service: 10.30am, 2.30pm, 4.30pm. Duration: approximately 1 hour; places are limited but no bookings are required
- Permanent exhibition: 11am. Duration: 1 hour. Starts in front of the treasure chamber
Behind the scenes at the Humanist Library: 11.30am. Duration: approximately 1 hour. Places are very limited; bookings on 03 88 58 07 20
Special events
- Presentation of antique books: 2pm, 3.30pm, 5pm. Duration: approximately 30 minutes. Limited places. Reading room on the first floor
- Screening: ‘Anatomy of a Restoration’: 10am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-6pm. Duration: approximately 26 minutes, continuous screening. Auditorium, ground floor
