Description

"For you have been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the living and abiding word of God." (1 Peter 1, 3)
His poetic universe, based on duality, takes off both at the bottom of the oceans, and on Earth, to rise into the immensity of our galaxy. The works require a double reading: a close-up view of the details, signs and symbolism, then a global reading from afar, which brings a different visual message to each one. The viewer's imagination then comes into play.
A loss of reference points is felt, and MACROCOSME
becomes confused with MICROCOSME. Metamorphosis is the term used to describe all the transformations that take place during a butterfly's life. In the case of the butterfly, metamorphosis is said to be complete, as the insect passes through four states: egg, larva (caterpillar), nymph (chrysalis), adult (butterfly).
For her, the chrysalis symbolizes freedom, trans-formation and the unshakeable human spirit confronted with the inevitable cycle of life. And that's why a butterfly and its cycle symbolize for her the beautiful balance between life, death and rebirth.
The chrysalis process also symbolizes, that, even in dying to ourselves, Christ can transform us into something beautiful.
