Description
This circuit will take you along the Route des Crêtes. This legendary route offers a breath-taking view of each side of the mountain.
Starting from Guebwiller, this demanding route allows you to explore various mountain passes in the area. On the itinerary: the mountain passes of Firstplan, Wettstein, Calvaire, Amic and Haag.
From the Col du Calvaire until Wattwiller, this route offers outstanding views of the Vosges mountain range as well as over the Alsatian plain. On a clear day, you can even see the Alps.
Next, this route will take you to the Col du Grand Ballon (1424m) - the highest peak in the Vosges.
