Description

This church, on the banks of the Scheer, is built on the site of a very old place of worship. It is dedicated to St. George, protector of Roman legionaries. One of the oldest churches in the region existed here. In 1202, it became the burial place of a Scottish prince, Ludan, who died, nomad and exhausted pilgrim, on February 12, 1202, a few steps from here. Since then, innumerable physical and spiritual healings were noted here.
Also, through the centuries, this church has become a very important meeting place for thousands of pilgrims who come to seek health and inner strength.
This church that welcomes you is above all the house of God.
The Christian Assembly meets every Sunday around the risen Christ. It is a place of prayer, silence, inner breathing.
Whether you are a believer or not, whether you share the faith of Christians or not, welcome to this place. Discover it with an open and respectful heart. He who lives in it and who is the Father of all men welcomes you.
GOOD VISIT TO THIS PLACE OF PEACE
