Description
Lorentzen castle is a 14th century "wasserburg". It is on level ground and was originally protected by a moat fed by the River Eichel. The old mill and barn frame (18th C) an attractive view of the castle and are currently being renovated.
The old barn houses an interactive exhibition called "Secrets of the Landscape" and the Tourist Office. The mill has been converted into a residential centre.
