Description

Bishop Gabriel Haug had this chapel built right up against the chevet of the Conventual Church of the Recollects. The latter was sold as State property during the Revolution and demolished in 1795. There is only one remaining piece of the church, on the Western wall of the chapel.
Through a door is the entrance to the courtyard, bathing in the shade of an ancient linden tree which might be standing since 1790.
Above that door stands the founder's coat of arms. Once inside the little chapel, you can see his gravestone. Private property but open to visitors every day.
