Zoological and Botanical Garden in Mulhouse
Description

Open since 1868, the Parc Zoologique & Botanique of Mulhouse is much more than just a place to visit: it's a place to discover, relax and escape, where nature reveals itself in all its diversity. Set in 25 hectares of greenery in the heart of the city, and awarded the "Remarkable Garden" label, it offers an exceptional setting for an outing with family or friends, combining walks, wonder and curiosity.
Along the paths, visitors embark on a veritable world tour. From the Arctic's Espace Grand Nord and its impressive polar bears, to South America's tropical biodiversity and its emblematic species, via Asia's primates and Madagascar's lemurs, each area immerses young and old in fascinating ecosystems. The new Horizon Afrique immersive territory, with its savannah and rainforest, allows visitors to observe giraffes, zebras, gazelles and many other emblematic species in a spectacular setting.
Young and old alike can observe almost 2,200 animals, stroll among thousands of plants and enjoy an environment where nature and well-being meet.
But the Park is also a major player in the protection of living things. Committed for decades to safeguarding endangered species, it participates in numerous conservation programs in Europe and around the world, and supports concrete actions in the field. In this way, every visit becomes a useful gesture: by discovering the animals and plants, the public better understands the challenges of biodiversity and the importance of preserving it.
The Parc Zoologique & Botanique de Mulhouse is a place of leisure, education and commitment, offering a complete experience that is fun, educational and inspiring. The Park promises a unique experience of discovery, emotion and unforgettable encounters with the living world.
