Description
Kagenfels Castle is taking part in the "Tous aux châteaux pour le 1er mai" ("All to the castles for May 1st") day organized by the ADT, and will be opening its doors to visitors and the curious! Half-hour guided tours will be offered every hour between 10am and 4pm.
The site's volunteers will tell you all about the castle's history, which is closely linked to that of Obernai, as well as the restoration project.
To get to the castle, head towards Mont Sainte-Odile, via Klingenthal to the parking lot:
- Stèle de Lancaster, then a 30-minute walk.
- Saegmuehlmaetten then 30 min walk
- Vorbruck puyis 45 min walk
