Exhibition - Nativity scenes from Asia
Description

Every year, the Saints-Pierre-et-Paul church hosts an exhibition of nativity scenes highlighting a particular region or country. This year, it's a continent, with collector Paul Alexandre, from Muzeray in eastern France, taking you on a journey to Asia.
On this continent of over 3.5 billion inhabitants, Christians are few and far between, with other religions dominating: Hinduism, Buddhism... and others linked to Islam. Yet nativity scenes can be found on Catholic islets.
This exhibition in the Saints-Pierre-et-Paul church will introduce you to nativity scenes from the Asian continent: South Korea, Palestine, India, Thailand, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Japan, Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Burma, China, Georgia, Israel, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Burma and Hong Kong.
Each crib is an invitation to dream and discover!
This exhibition is part of the Christmas Crib Trail.
The cribs are open from Friday November 28 to Wednesday December 31, from 9-12 and 14-18h.
