Description

The second generation perpetuates the tradition of jams cooked in the copper cauldron, combining fruit and sugar only (no gelling agents or preservatives). Some forty varieties with local flavors are simmered: rosehip, morello cherry, mirabelle plum with cinnamon, wild apple, blueberry, not to mention the famous Christmas jam... In a brand-new building, discover a unique, fun and educational jam museum covering 90m², and take part in a jam-making workshop, tasting and selling jams, jellies and other regional products.
Les Confitures du Climont has been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label by the French government.
Fabrice Krencker, who founded the company 35 years ago, was awarded the title of Meilleur confiturier de France in 2010.
