Description

Located at the edge of the Natural Parc of Northern Vosges,the monastry includes several buildings around the Buddhist chapel. It has a garden, with medicinal herbs, and a garden ornated with several sculptures. It was founded in 1999 by Master Reigen Wang-Genh, thanks to the help of donations from alsatian and southern german regular practicing. Since then, nuns, monks and seculars have lived there in order to lead a cloistered way of life. 
The monastry is open to everyone interested in retreating or discovering meditation.
Guided tours are organised on saturdays at 4p.m. Mandatory registration. Price : 5€. 
Warning: The monastry can be occasionnally closed to the public because of silent retreats.
