Sauerkraut and folklore festival
This 45th edition of the sauerkraut and folklore festival and its flea market are organized by the Société de Musique and the Groupe Folklorique Concordia de Meistratzheim. The sauerkraut festival is one of the village's most popular events, bringing together various folk music and dance groups from all over Alsace and beyond.
The highlight is the procession at 3pm. The sauerkraut lunch (which can be taken away-meal and coffee/20€) will be served on reservation, in advance on September 7 at the village's salle socio-culturelle, or by sending the reservation with a check payable to 'Concordia - 459 rue Sainte-Odile - 67210 Meistratzheim.
Light refreshments will be available on the Place de la Mairie throughout the day, until 6 p.m. Information on 06 15 42 98 10 after 6pm.
