May 1st at the castles - Guided tours of Kagenfels Castle
Château du Kagenfels is taking part in the "Tous aux châteaux pour le 1er mai" ("All to the castles for May 1st") day organized by the ADT and will be opening its doors to visitors and the curious! Guided tours will be offered every hour between 10am and 4pm. The site celebrates its 25th anniversary!
Site volunteers will be on hand to tell you all about the château, its history and the work in progress. A number of objects from the excavations will be on display opposite the château.
Visitors are welcomed on a first-come, first-served basis - 10-15 minute sessions (including a 1-hour lunch break).
Access to the château is on foot only, and there are 5 different routes to the château on the www.kagenfels.org website.
