Christmas concert - Cotton fields
Organized as part of the Christmas charity concerts in the Pays de Sainte-Odile, with proceeds going to Obern'aide and Les Amis des Pensionnaires des Berges de l'Ehn. With the Cotton Fields vocal ensemble, a group of 11 experienced singers focusing on African-American music.
Under the artistic direction of Pierre-Luc PFRIMMER, surrounded by show business professionals (musicians, choreographers, sound and light technicians...), Cotton Fields focuses on innovative reinterpretations of African-American music (spirituals, African-American hymns, gospel, jazz-vocal, vocal-pop...).
Sharing with audiences the immediate emotion of this music, from prayer to jubilation, with a constant concern for musical quality, stage presence and a strong artistic identity, is the foundation of this ensemble!
