Exhibition - Perspectives - Christine Gorwa-Fuchs and Géraldine Morales-Fuchs

To mark their 60th birthdays, the twin sisters, natives of Barr, are exhibiting together for the first time.

With “Regards croisés,” they bring together two different yet complementary artistic worlds. Their common ground: the feminine world, sensitivity, and emotion.

Géraldine Morales-Fuchs, an oil painter, draws her inspiration from flowers and still lifes. Her figurative, impressionistic approach emphasizes light, softness, and depth in spontaneous and sensitive paintings. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards, and she currently exhibits internationally.

Christine Gorwa-Fuchs, working in acrylic and ink, primarily explores the female portrait. In an expressionist figurative style, she captures gazes, emotions, and postures using flat areas of color, vibrant hues, and a great deal of gestural freedom. She exhibits in various galleries in France and abroad.

Two perspectives, two artistic styles, but a shared artistic world: femininity, spontaneity, sensitivity, and the pursuit of vibrant painting.
