Augenblick Festival - German-Language Film Festival, 22nd Edition

Every year in November, the AUGENBLICK Festival reaffirms its European roots and brings together film lovers from France’s Grand Est region, offering a unique overview of German-language cinema—from classics to new releases—and cementing its status as a must-attend film event. Founded in 2005 at the initiative of the independent cinema network, AUGENBLICK is organized by the association RECIT (Réseau Est Cinéma Image et Transmission).

In 2025, with 44 feature films and 18 short films on the program, the festival presented 1,166 screenings across 46 participating cinemas and screening venues, attracting 62,176 viewers. Recognized at the regional, national, and European levels, AUGENBLICK supports the audiovisual industry and the distribution of rare films.

The 22nd edition of the Festival will take place from November 3 to 20, 2026, and your local cinema in Obernai will, of course, be participating! Check out the program soon at www.13esens.com
