Description
As part of the ‘Rendez-vous aux jardins’ weekend and the 2026 lecture series, the City of Obernai is hosting an event dedicated to the gardens of the Domaine de la Léonardsau.
The lecture will present the principles that guided their creation, in particular the concept of the ‘mixed garden’ promoted by landscape architect Jules Buyssens, as well as his collaboration with Édouard André. It will also discuss the influence of Baron Albert de Dietrich and the evolution of these living gardens, from old postcards to the first renovation work undertaken by the City of Obernai.
