In the Duchy of Alsace, Duke Clodomir I is beginning to lose his mind. The court is on the alert because his strange behavior is not the result of hallucinations. Spirits are awakening, and fairies and witches are sharpening their spells as an ancient legend resurfaces: King Clotaire's old sword returns from the depths of time to claim its prize.
