European Archaeology Days: the Paien Wall

To mark European Archaeology Days, the Réveil du Mur Païen association is offering guided tours of the archaeological excavations at the northern gate of the Mur Païen on Mont Sainte-Odile. These tours will provide an opportunity to discover the progress of the research and the remains unearthed at this iconic site steeped in history.



Access from the Mont Sainte-Odile sanctuary by following the ‘Mur Païen Nord’ signs (yellow signposts) to the North Gate. Come along to the site throughout the weekend to chat with the association’s volunteers and enthusiasts who are dedicated to promoting the local archaeological heritage.
