Cited in archival documents as far back as 1301, Obernai's weekly Thursday morning market is over 700 years old. Popular with the inhabitants of a large area around Obernai, the market welcomes 127 traders each week, who have a fixed location, and 30 to 40 other traders who take part in a draw each Thursday to allocate the remaining spaces.
To complete this local offer of fresh, quality local produce, a complementary market takes place on Saturday mornings, dedicated to organic produce.
