The Romanesque House

Description
Built in 1154, the Romanesque House is a pink sandstone fortified manor house similar in style to the gate towers and fortified castles of the period. It is one of the oldest stone civilian buildings in Alsace. It has undergone very few alterations over the centuries. Its exterior appearance and interior volumes were restored in 2001-2002.
