Description
According to the experts, the mysterious Pagan Wall was built by the Celts. It is over 10 km long and encloses a surface area of 100 hectares around Mont Sainte-Odile. The wall, made of large blocks of stone, is still 3 metres high in places, and 2 metres thick.
Access: take the D426 to the P3 car park of Mont Sainte-Odile, follow the yellow X signs to the Pagan Wall (Mur Païen) on foot, 2 hrs 15 mins (easier), 2 hrs 30 mins (harder), or the 5 hrs loop.
